4 "SHOES AND WHIPS" CHIPS
OF THE SPORTS CATEGORY
OF CLAY COMPOSITION POKER CHIPS --
THIS IS A CODEFINDER AND SALES LIST

code, colors for sale, price per chip
¶ description of chip
picture of chip
A.  SXS-HTH -- red, white, blue -- $3 each.
¶ this is the easiest one to identify.  The upper-left whip end has a jagged/uneven outline.  The other three codes have a smooth-roundish upper-left whip end.  (This was code HTH in supplement #1 of the old book.  It is omitted from the new book.)
B.  SXS-HTG --  red, white, blue -- $3 each.
¶ this code has three distinguishing characteristics: (a) the upper-left whip head has twoshort lines (see upper arrow at right); (b) the nail holes (which are oval) in the left side of the left shoe (see the two red lines) are centered in the metal (on the other codes, the nail holes are closest to the outer edge of the shoe) ; and (c) a cross is formed at the lower-left whip end (see lower arrow in picture at right). (This is code HTG of the old book. It might be code SXS of the new book.)
C.  SXS-HTM  --  red, white, blue -- $3 each.
¶ the distinguishing features of this code are the lack of the features of the other three codes, and (a) the nail holes are very square-like (not oval slits like the other codes), and (b) what was a cross in SXS-HTG, above, is a "T" here.  (This code was HTM in the old book; omitted in new book.)
D.  SXS-HTL --  sorry, no dupes.
¶  the distinguishing features are the lack of certain features in the above chips, and (a) the cross in SXS-HTG, above, and the "T" in SXS-HTM above, is a srtraight line here; (b) the large "ankle" bulge in the lower-right whip is unique; and (c) although it can not be seen in the picture, this is the only Shoes and Whips chip that has thick square edges; the others are all typical round-edged.   (This code was identified after the first book came out; it is omitted from the new book.)
