| bone 110. (Pictured is the Victorian
bone set I own. The box is green leather lined with satin material inside
the lid. The six individual leather chip boxes (25 chips to a box) are removable.
In small gold type is the maker's name: " Mudie & Sons, 10 Coventry St.,
Piccadilly, W." That company published books and sold games and gambling supplies
in the 19th and early 20th centuries, in London, England.) Thin, bone, engraved
chips -- 1-5/16" diameter. The denominations are in shillings, of course....
... .... I'd sell individual chips for $4 each. |
